History
ÉcoRessources has been offering carbon-related services since 2004 under the name of its sister company ÉcoRessources Consultants. ÉcoRessources Carbone was founded in 2008 to broaden its services and expand geographically.
As one of the first firms in North America to develop offset projects and originate carbon credits for voluntary and emerging compliance markets, ÉcoRessources Carbone pioneered the development of the North American carbon market. In 2007, ÉcoRessources expanded its activities on the CDM market by opening an office in Lima, Peru.
Over the years, ÉcoRessources has built its expertise in several disciplines, including business management, finance, GHG accounting and reporting, emissions trading, and forestry, to offer comprehensive and cost-effective solutions for the challenges of GHG management.
Headquartered in Montréal, Canada, ÉcoRessources also has offices in Quebec City, Canada and Lima, Peru, as well as business representatives in the Canadian cities of Vancouver and Toronto and in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
