ÉcoRessources supports the Africa Group during international negotiations on climate change
At the Climate Summit to be held in Cancún, Mexico in December 2010, ÉcoRessources will support the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in its mission to lead the Africa Group in international negotiations on climate change. In 2010, the DRC started a two-year mandate as head of the Africa Group and has already sought the support of ÉcoRessources for the 2010 climate change talks held in Bonn and Tianjin, to prepare for the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). ÉcoRessources will advise the DRC on numerous issues, particularly those related to a post-2012 regime, including the future mechanism to Reduce Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation (REDD).
