To contribute to the objective of the Colloque Air et Changements climatiques of Réseau Environment, which promotes technical and commercial exchanges on climate change, two of ÉcoRessources’ experts will each give a presentation on October 12, 2010.

Frédéric Gagnon-Lebrun, Managing Director at ÉcoRessources, will state the different risks associated with the implementation of offset projects, including, among others, technical, regulatory, and financial risks. He will also reference case studies.

In collaboration with Mallette, Philippe Crête, Project Manager at ÉcoRessources, will present the advantages and the risks associated with carbon finance, specifically in the context of biomass renewable energy projects. He will address the steps leading to carbon finance and the impacts obtained. He will also focus on the risks related to carbon finance implementation, to the technology, as well as to those linked with carbon credit transactions.
