The mandate from the MDEIE is to provide training on the carbon market in the context of the implementation of a cap-and-trade system in Quebec under the Western Climate Initiative. This training will be divided into two sessions: the first will present the basic concepts of the carbon market, and the second will further develop different aspects of this market mechanism in a two-day session. The training sessions will be punctuated with examples and will include practical work. A participant handbook will be developed for each session.

The ÉcoRessources team will also be responsible for the organization and logistics of the training sessions.
