The Ometepe Biogas Programme of Activities developed by ÉcoRessources is mentioned in two articles in major newspapers in the Dominican Republic
ÉcoRessources is cited in the Dominican Republic's newspapers Hoy and El Nuevo Diario following the organization of a public consultation for the Ometepe Biogas Programme of Activities (PoA) that the ÉcoRessources’ team is developing under the Clean Development Mechanism. The main objective of the Ometepe Biogas PoA is to support the implementation of biodigestion systems for wastewater treatment in the industrial and agro-industrial sectors in Nicaragua, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and utilize the biogas produced as a renewable energy source.
