ÉcoRessources will continue to write the Institut de l'énergie et de l'environnement de la Francophonie (IEPF) newsletter to provide up-to-date information and insight on the carbon market and the Clean Development Mechanism
The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) established by the Kyoto Protocol represents a considerable asset to promote international cooperation through sustainable projects in developing countries. After the adoption of the Durban agreements (COP 17), this carbon market mechanism is taking a more prominent place, especially for the post-2012 period.
In this context, the renewal for a third year of the mandate to produce the bi-monthly newsletter on behalf of the IEPF demonstrates ÉcoRessources' involvement has in the dissemination of news related to the development of international climate change negotiations, the carbon market and the CDM for francophone developing countries.
