ÉcoRessources was selected by the Quebec Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade to develop and provide a training course on carbon markets and the steps leading to offset creation. The course is geared towards Quebec offset project developers and is given in collaboration with the Canadian Standard Council and Enviro-Accès. It gives an overview of emerging regional carbon markets, upcoming Canadian GHG legislation, price and market data, and provides training on the technical steps required to create offset in emerging voluntary and compliance market places. To promote the course, ÉcoRessources has also been mandated to give 30-minute talks across Quebec to a wide variety of industrial and commercial organizations with an interest in carbon markets and GHG legislation.
