Luis Fernando Miranda del Solar is responsible for ÉcoRessources’ business development activities in Latin America. His main responsibility is to seek potential CDM or VER project developers and assess the feasibility of projects. His areas of expertise include CDM and VER project origination, project management, development of corporate GHG management and mitigation strategies, and the implementation and assessment of environmental management systems.

Mr. Miranda is a specialist in environmental management with over 11 years experience in environmental, quality, occupational health and safety management systems, performing audits and consulting for more than 80 companies in Latin America. In this capacity, he has worked as ISO 14001 Certification Lead Auditor for TÜV Rheinland Group. Fernando also worked as consultant and auditor for the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo/InterAmerican Development Bank (BID) for the CADENA Productiva Sostenible Projects (PERÚ 2021) and as social and environmental auditor for the Camisea Project (Transportadora de Gas del Perú – TGP and Pluspetrol).

As Development Manager for ÉcoRessources in Latin America, Mr. Miranda has established business relations with private and public institutions in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru.  He has also taken charge of the development of the work strategies in sectors such as mining, oil, gas, fishing, electricity and forestry in these areas.

Mr. Miranda is currently completing a Master’s degree in Material Flow Management and Energy at the Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas Trier, Environmental - Campus Birkenfeld - IfaS (Institut für angewandtes Stoffstrommanagement) in Germany. He also completed studies in Environmental Management and Costs Optimization in the Industry at Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung GmbH (InWEnt), Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) and the Institut für ZukunftsEnergieSysteme (IZES) in Germany, in Environmental Management and Auditing at the Universidad Nacional Agraria “La Molina” in Peru, as well as in Environmental Consulting at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas – Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana – PNUMA.
