Nathan has ten years’ experience as an agro-environmental and agro-forestry project manager (research, analysis and field work), and as a value chain analyst specializing in developing countries. Before joining the ÉcoRessources team, he was an agricultural and agro-forestry advisor for Belgian and Canadian NGOs in the Andean countries, and he also worked as a researcher for the Centre d’expertise sur les produits agroforestiers (CEPAF), a centre of expertise on agro-forestry products. He is an agronomist who studied at Ghent University with a specialization in tropical and subtropical agriculture. He also holds an M.Sc. in Agro-forestry and a post-graduate certificate in Integrated Rural Development, both from Laval University.
